Terms of service.
These terms govern your use of this website and the private Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and TRT service offered remotely across the UK by Sussex Pharmacies Ltd, trading as Healthy-U Pharmacy. By booking a consultation or using the service, you agree to the terms set out below. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.
1. Service description
We provide private consultations for the assessment and treatment of menopause, perimenopause and related hormonal symptoms, including the prescription of HRT where clinically appropriate. The service includes initial assessment, personalised treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow-up reviews.
2. Eligibility
To use the service, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over.
- Be based in the United Kingdom.
- Provide an accurate medical history and consent to treatment.
With your written consent, we are happy to notify your NHS GP about your treatment.
3. Fees and payment
- Fees for each appointment type are shown on the relevant service page and at checkout.
- Payment is taken in full at the time of booking through our secure payment provider.
- Once paid, appointment fees are non-refundable, regardless of attendance or clinical outcome, except where required by law.
4. Booking, rescheduling and cancellations
- Appointments can be booked through this website or by contacting our patient team.
- You may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge.
- Requests to reschedule within 48 hours are considered case by case and cannot be guaranteed.
- We may need to cancel or reschedule due to clinician illness or unforeseen circumstances. Where this happens we will offer the next available slot or a full refund.
5. Clinical process
Each consultation includes a review of your symptoms, medical history, and suitability for treatment. Blood tests may be recommended where clinically indicated. Treatment is provided by a registered healthcare professional who is an Independent Prescriber.
6. Prescriptions and medication
- Prescriptions are issued only where clinically appropriate.
- Medication can be dispensed by our own pharmacy team or sent to a pharmacy of your choice.
- Additional charges apply for medication supplied by us, depending on the product.
- Where requested, prescriptions can be posted to your home address.
7. Review appointments
A review appointment is typically scheduled six to eight weeks after starting treatment, and then at least annually, or sooner where clinically required. Review fees are shown on the relevant service page.
8. Data protection and confidentiality
All information shared during your consultation is confidential. We comply with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your information is only shared with third parties involved in your care, and only with your consent.
9. Limitations of service
This service is not intended for medical emergencies. If you are unwell or experiencing a medical emergency, please contact NHS 111 or call 999.
10. Regulator and professional standards
The service is delivered through a registered UK community pharmacy. Our superintendent pharmacist is Dervis Gurol (GPhC No. 2212187). We work to the standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council and the British Menopause Society.
